Our client, a specialised Events Management Company in Cape Town, is seeking to employ an Events Co-ordinator to join their dynamic team. The position requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years previous experience in Event Management.
• Event Management qualification or relevant tertiary education will be advantageous
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in event planning (corporate and media events, weddings, conferences, catering and specialised event management)
• Own reliable transport and valid driver's license is essential
• Able to travel as and when required
• Clear interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Solutions orientated and forward thinking
• Ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic workplace environment
• Ability to work well under pressure (independently and across diverse teams)
• MS Office proficient

• Creating mood boards, preparation of quotations and invoicing
• Planning and overseeing event set ups and execution
