Our client, situated on one of South Africa’s oldest working farms, is seeking to employ a Sous Chef to join their dynamic team. This modern South African Farm kitchen offers a multi-course menu and operates five days a week.
We are looking for a chef with exceptional technical skill, strong operational background, able to work at a high pace with attention to detail, passionate and motivated.

Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license is essential.

Position requirements:

• A Diploma in Professional Cookery
• National Senior Certificate
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-end kitchen environment
• Able to assist in effectively manage and run a team
• Experience in basic kitchen admin and section orders
• Work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, on all levels
• Exceptional work ethic
• Passionate about food production and eager to grow
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays
• Computer literate

Remuneration: Market Related
Start Date: ASAP
