Our client, a Boutique Wine Estate in Durbanville, is looking for a hands-on and operationally strong Restaurant Manager to join their team.

We are seeking an individual with an exceptional eye for detail, highly motivated and guest and service centric, with a strong food and wine knowledge.

Key Accountabilities:

• Hands-on approach to food and beverage operations

• Being actively on the floor during service, ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations

• Staff management

• Continued staff training and development

• Daily administrative and financial duties

• Daily reporting functions

• The management of Health and Safety regulations

• Guest liaison and management of overall guest experiences

Minimum Requirements:

• A qualification in hospitality management will be advantageous

• Excellent wine knowledge. WSET or CWA qualification will be advantageous

• Own vehicle and driver’s license

• Able to effectively manage and lead a team

• Strong training ability

• Excellent operational and leadership skills

• Excellent communication skills on all levels

• Guest and service centric

• Ability to manage pressure

Remuneration: R16 000 - R18 000 pm

Start Date: ASAP
