Jordan Winery requires a hardworking, enthusiastic, admin-driven individual to join our office team as a Human Resource Administrator and Assistant Reservations officer. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, fluent in English with a good communication skill and a team player.
The role is a dual role where the work week will be split between HR functions and reservation functions.
The Human Resource Administrator duties and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
- Gathering each department register on a Wednesday morning to help with payroll administration.
- Lead recruitment processes when necessary.
- Guide employees through employee lifecycle such as onboarding, development, employee retention and resigning employees.
- File and maintain employee records and details including discipline issues.
- Lead the staff milestone initiative.
- Help with HR compliance with employment equity, skills development, BBEEE and Health and Safety.
The Assistant Reservations Officer duties and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
- Keep on top of all bookings such as reservations at The Cellar Door, Jordan Luxury Suites and Jordan Restaurant.
· “Think on feet” attitude to assist guests when all departments are full, create an expectation and follow through with continuous communication.
· Answering phone calls in professional manner.
· Respond to email and social enquiries in efficient manner.
· Add and manage bookings on Dineplan, constantly confirming availability with managers.
· Check with kitchen for any last-minute picnic request and manage Quicklink deposits.
· Collect weekend’s CRM notes.
