Account Manager Export Fruit Logistics - CTC 35,000 pm

We are seeking a resilient fruit account manager in our Somerset West export logistics office, with tenacity and a can do approach.

Responsibilities:

The planning, contracting and controlling the supply chain activities in the export process of perishable products worldwide.

 Main functions:

• Develop the optimum supply chain.
• Contract service providers that will perform the logistics activities.
• Setup service contracts and procedures.
• Manage the executions of the supply chain.
• Interact with the exporter to ensure a successful execution.
• Perform administration activities to control the process.

 Minimum requirement :

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fruit exports logistical.
• Tertiary degree in Logistics will be advantageous.
• An a above average Computer literacy will be required.

• Resilient – must be able to coupe under pressure, presently the export environment is impacted by worldwide logistical constraints.

• Accurate and system driven.
• Tenacity and a can do approach.   

 Salary R36,000 CTC
