Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons, an iconic brand in the global wine industry, based in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley is currently seeking to recruit 2 x Harvest Internships for 3 months to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Winemaking Team

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to

  • Grape data collection and intake
  • Yeast Preparation
  • Wine and must additions
  • Fermentation control
  • Racking of wine
  • Pressing
  • Barrel Work
  • Cleaning of the cellar and cellar equipment
  • Working extended hours as and when required
  • Reliable transport to and from work

Skills and competencies                                                                     

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to function well within a team
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Following instructions accurately


  • Oenology degree/diploma
