Our client is seeking a Front of House Manager, on a part-time basis, to oversee and manage a 50-seater eatery, located on a family owned farm in the heart of Elgin Valley.  This cosy Country Café serves Breakfast and Lunch.

We are looking for an individual with a hands-on approach to the front of house management, able to effectively lead and mange a small dynamic team and passionate about the industry. Previous experience is essential. The position will cover 1 to 2 weekends per month. (Saturdays and Sundays)

A pre-requisite is that the candidates resides in the local vicinity area. Own vehicle and driver's licence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Formal Hospitality Qualifications will be advantageous
  • National Senior Certificate 
  • Fully bilingual
  • Computer literate
  • Strong operational and leadership skills 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Focussed, creative and passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Customer orientated
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist with the front of house operations
  • Being actively on the floor, tending to guests needs and ensure the highest level of service
  • Lead and manage a small dynamic team
  • Administrative duties: Cash up and reporting, manage bookings, stock control, open and closing procedures
  • Maintaining cleaning schedules 
  • Extreme attention to detail

Start Date: ASAP

Remuneration: A competitive daily rate
