Stellenbosch 
A well know Wine farm in Stellenbosch, is looking for an Assistant Winemaker for the 2024 season.
Internship will run from beginning January 2024 to end of June 2024.
This is a great opportunity for any candidate to learn and be part of great team environment.
You will be responsible, but not limited:
- Sampling of grapes
- Grape receival and documentation
- Yeast preparation and additions
- Wine and must additions
- Fermentation control
- Racking, filtering of wine and must
- Pres loading and operation
- Barrel work
- Cleaning
The following will be expected from you:
- Reliable transport with a valid license
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Working late at night and on weekends
Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Oenology and any relevant experience.
