International Sales Manager (Spier)

Spier is looking for an experienced, commercial oriented Sales Manager to take on and grow selected key international wine markets.

The incumbent will spend time on the ground in these key markets growing market share and building on our key relationships with those stakeholders.

We are looking for applicants with strong business acumen and with a clear understanding of the fundamentals of a wine business; has the ability to negotiate, structure and close transactions.

We are looking for incumbents with;

• Proven FMCG experience (wine industry and key account management will strengthen the application)
• Maintains high energy levels and is willing to travel extensively, attend shows, host guests and represent the company at business functions.
• 5 years FMCG experience with wine industry key accounts management.
• Experience in USA wine market will be a benefit
• Can operate on own to achieve targets, but understand the need and benefit of having the whole Spier team behind them
• Position is based in Stellenbosch.
