General Manager - Wines

A well-established winery based in Franschhoek is looking for a general manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring that guests receive a world-class memorable experience.

The GM will serve as a brand ambassador, providing leadership and strategic direction to staff, and fostering a collaborative and harmonious workplace. This role is centered around guest and staff with an additional sales element and mandate to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all operational functions including:

• F&B including restaurant
• Accommodation
• Conference venue
• Wine production
• Finance
• Stock
• Administrative processes
• Staff 

Requirements: 

• Wine Industry background with an understanding of local and international market 
• Hospitality experience would be beneficial
• Excellent organizational and people skills
