Wine Advisor - Franschhoek

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for presenting and understanding the full range of wines available at the venue to customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and set-up of wine tasting equipment.

• Conduct tastings in a friendly and professional manner.

• Presenting full range of wines to customer.

• Stock control and management.

• Maintain set housekeeping and hygiene standards.

• Follow correct opening and closing procedures.

• Follow correct food handling procedures.

• Ensure correct sales are processed.

• Ensure correct purchases are boxed/bagged.

Skills & Qualifications required:

• Grade 12

• Minimum 1 year wine advisor experience
  
  

Physical Ability:

• Applicants must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
