Quality Controller Stellenbosch Vineyards

Stellenbosch Vineyards is an internationally owned wine farm, situated on the outskirts of Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch Vineyards is owned by the French listed Wine Company, AdVini, whom has a South African footprint in and around Stellenbosch, owning Ken Forrester Wines, Le Bonheur Wine Farm, L'Avenir Wine Farm, Kleine Zalze Wines and Stellenbosch Vineyards. 

We are looking for a Quality Controller to join our dynamic Operations team! 

The ideal candidate will be responsible to approve and ensure the quality of the product in cellar, in transit and in bottling phase. You will also be responsible to ensure that the product complies to internal and external standards set out to ensure a world - class product! 

Qualifications needed:
- Grade 12 
- Degree or Diploma in Food Technology / Winemaking 
- HACCP / Foodsafety training will be beneficial 
- FSSC 2200 training or working knowledge will be beneficial 

Experience needed:

- 2- 3 years’ experience in a Quality Control environment in manufacturing industry
- Wine Industry specific
- Lab experience will be beneficial.
- Broad knowledge of Wine and Winemaking process
- Working knowledge on BC will be beneficial.
- Passion for systems and procedures to ensure excellent, world class products!
