Job purpose
My Client seeks to employ an HR Officer/ Coordinator to ensure that policies and procedures are implemented, and the compliance standard in the business is upheld. This position will be the first point of contact within all the designated business units for all HR and Compliance related activities.
 
Key Accountability Areas
a) Transactional HR Maintain the complete employee life cycle Administration of employment contracts, recruitment and interview processes Coordinate the recruitment process Employee induction, orientation and training Compile various HR Reports Process and update employee data
b) Compliance and Governance Keeping abreast of new and current legislation Conduct regular internal audits in the different business units and on contractors to ensure compliance Prepare internal audits reports Maintain company policies and procedures in adherence to legislation Manage and coordinate retail and labour audits in all business units Coordinate and maintain statutory committees Advise on Company Policies and Procedures
c) Training and Development Coordinate statutory training Report on Training and Development Conduct Skills Audit Assist in the complication of the WSP
Skills and Competencies required Knowledge of HR functions Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is an added advantage Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and team player Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude Strong ethics and reliability Strong attention to detail; logical and systematic Ability to work effectively under pressure Time Management skills
 
Qualification and Experience
Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a relevant qualification
Experience in the Agricultural Sector will be an added advantage
A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience Relevant code 8 driver’s license
