Our client, a wine estate situated in the beautiful Stellenbosch wine region, has an opportunity for a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal & organisational skills, paired with the ability to work independently, to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to set up the HR department within the organisation and work with all levels of employees.

The incumbent will be responsible for: *job descriptions and performance processes *managing training and development of staff *setting up SOP’s in collaboration with various departments *managing the disciplinary process within the organisation *HR policies, procedures & contracts *recruitment and selection *coordination of onboarding and exit processes *submission of ATR/WSP *Employment Equity *all ad hoc tasks and administration related to the role.

Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources;
• Approximately 3-5 years' experience in a similar position;
• Labour legislation knowledge with application in the Agricultural industry;
• Experience with WIETA and Fairtrade accreditation advantageous;
• Excellent computer literacy [MS Office and SAGE Payroll (HR modules)];
• Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans);
• Driver’s license and own reliable transport.
