Role: Key Accounts
Reporting to: Sales Director



 The On-Con Key Accounts Manager will be assigned a portfolio of customers and is responsible for developing an effective long-term relationship with them, as well as connecting with key business stakeholders and executives. The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives and commercial growth, leveraging their expertise in the wine industry to build strong partnerships. They will therefore be the driving force behind ensuring that sales opportunities are maximized by aligning all stakeholders. The On-Con Key Accounts Manager will ensure targets are met by providing clients with exceptional service, keeping up with market trends and competition, and coming up with creative management strategies for both.

 Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Develop key account plans that are aligned with Brand Partner strategic priorities.
  • Drive and achieve sales targets by successfully executing sales plan.
  • Play an active role in menu development and listings within On Con Groups.
  • Develop and execute channel specific promotional plans to drive sales and consumer exposure to Vinimark brands.
  • Plan, lead and negotiate trading terms with customers, ensuring alignment to commercial priorities and within company guidelines.
  • Effectively implement pricing schedules and rates.
  • Ensure effective coordination between customers and sales teams to remove the commercial barriers that may affect the day-to-day operations.
  • Be conscious of emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Track and monitor performance in accordance with forecasted annual, quarterly, and monthly sales budgets.
  • Create proposals and business plans to secure new business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and input into sales policies and procedures.

Skills & requirements

  • 5+ Years liquor industry experience
  • Extensive sales experience
  • Exceptional administrative, financial, and quality control skills
  • Able to understand and negotiate trading terms.
  • Be in possession of a valid code 08 driver’s license
  • Experience in executing sales strategy that increases customer base, ensures strong presence, and fosters teamwork.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of wine and of the Vinimark Brands in the portfolio.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
