Farm Manager - Blueberries - Namibia

The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects related to the Production and harvesting of blue berries including specialised activities related to setting the crop through to harvesting.

Position Specifications:

• Matric certificate.
• BSc Agric
• Plus at least 2-3 years’ management experience in a large commercial agriculture operation. Sound knowledge of farming in tunnels especially in berry or grape production would be advantageous.
• Fully computer literate in MS Office with good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Must have excellent people management skills.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Have sound knowledge of Harvesting season procedures and production.
• Have a working knowledge of GlobalG.A.P. and Siza.

• Meticulous attention to detail while working under pressure.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of Netojet 4 irrigation
• Knowledge of Fall Creek variety`s
