Product Developer

Our client in Paarl is looking to employ a Product Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing new product development, maintaining high standards of innovation, quality and commercial viability.

Duties and Responsibilities include; but not limited to:
Create a New Product Development & Innovation strategy aligned to deliver against the business strategy objectives.
Lead and support the company in the development of new products, product enhancements and product redesigns.
Identify and grow sustainable and profitable categories to gain market share within the FMCG industry.
Source and develop commercially viable new product ranges.
Execute range reviews and gap analysis.
Hold successful product launches against targeted timelines.
Understand global and local food trends and consumer behaviour.
Assessing feasibility and potential size of opportunity for new and redesigned products

Minimum requirements: Relevant degree or diploma
Experience required:  5 years’ experience in a similar position

Job Type: Full Time; Permanent with a 3-month probation period
Package: Negotiable based on experience and expertise
