This role represents the Beck Family Estates portfolio in designated geographical areas of SA. Aspects of sales, marketing and general ambassadorial responsibilities go hand in hand. The Territory Manager upholds a productive and complementary relationship with our trade partners for attaining the goals set for BFE’s sales, including the recruitment of customers, nurturing sound relationships and building BFE’s wine brands. The TM reports to the Regional Business Manager
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education Grade 12
Additional Qualifications Diploma in Sales / Marketing advantageous
Minimum Work Experience 4 years in a similar role within the liquor industry, wine background advantageous
As the Territory Manager you will be responsible for:
- Sales in Cape Town region
- New Clients & Listings
- Client Relationship management. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships with local restaurants, hotels and retailers
- Stock Monitoring
- Support to BFE Managers
- Represent the company at events & shows as and when required
Requirements and Skills:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Tech-savvy (Proficiency in MS Office suite: Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Wine Sales Experience: Prior experience in wine sales is desired.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication.
- Relationship Building: Strong networking and client management skills.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing wine allocations and records.
