Seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join this award-winning hotel. Expertise in preparing a variety of desserts and pastries, combined with a creative flair in developing unique tastes and recipes.
As an ideal candidate, you should have a strong background in culinary arts and a genuine passion for creating sweet and delectable treats. Your commitment to upholding health and safety standards is crucial to ensuring the highest quality of service to our guests.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATONS
 
• NQF 6 qualification or certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field.
• 10+ Years of proven experience as Pastry Cook, baker, or relevant role
• Great attention to detail and creativity
• Organizing and leadership skills
• Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.
• In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
• Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
 
REMUNERATION
 
• Basic salary ranging from R22 000 – R28 000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
• 50% company contribution to Momentum Medical Aid to provide comprehensive health coverage.
