My name is Jordan, I currently live, and have lived in Reno, Nevada for the last 30 years. It's in the western United States, near Napa Valley. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 2017.

I currently work for a fantastic company that sells a huge amount of wine every year (50,000 cases+) and have learned so, so much here. I have came to love wine and everything about it, from Napa, to Sonoma, Spain, Argentina, Italy, and South Africa.

I also have my initial experience in fine dining, as I was a waiter/manager at the Atlantis Steakhouse, which is a very upscale, fine dining restaurant. I know a massive amount about the fine dining food industry as that's all I have been a part of.

For the last few years, I have been looking into possibly relocation to South Africa. I reached out to some locals on reddit, and one of them told me that since I know and love wine, that this is somewhere I should post.

-- I am aware that to obtain a valid work visa, I need to be an asset that a local citizen could not be. I believe I do have that skill/connection. I have great connections with my current employer and many other wine retailers in the Western United States, and that is something I can utilize once I move to South Africa to generate imports/sales to the United States. Which also by definition, is something a local citizen would not be able to achieve. So, I believe getting myself a valid work visa is very possible.

I am an extremely hard worker and take what I do personally to assure I do a great job. I want to move to South Africa badly, I love everything about it.

I am really open to multiple job positions, as I believe I am well-rounded in multiple facets, whether it be more than restaurant/service side, or if that may be the business/sales side. And I am open to discussing whatever it is that I could do to help.
