Newly opening restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch is looking for an experienced and qualified Sous Chef with a strong culinary background, sophisticated dining experience essential, knowledge of catering operations beneficial, familiar with using state of the art cooking techniques, able to assist in leading and managing the preparation and execution of high quality menus. Someone that is forward thinking, resourceful with excellent communication and operational skills.

It is a pre-requisite to have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
 
In the role the Sous Chef you will plan, direct food preparation and culinary activities as guided by the Executive Chef, inventory and supplies management, effectively assist in leading and managing a small focused brigade, with a focus on food quality and timelines.
