Our client is looking to employ Quality Control Administrator. The Quality Control Administrator will expected to supervise and monitor the quality control and assurance activities of the entire organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities include; but not limited to:

Overall Quality Management System implementation, monitoring and improvement:

Maintain and Improve good practices
Facilitate change to achieve continuous improvement in quality
Provide assurances that company and client standards are being met
Overviewing product quality at site level
Implementation and management of quality manual systems and compliance
Ensure an uncompromising approach is taken to product safety and quality by all employees
Ensure consistent risk assessment and testing approaches and regular updates with RP
Grow and maintain a thorough and current working understanding of industry-standard QA practices and procedures, in both theoretical and practical terms
Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions
Qualification and verification activities necessary.

Administration:

Supervise/Spot-check daily/weekly quality inspections
Conduct pre-despatch quality checks on all product lines picked for orders and ensure batches have been released by Responsible Pharmacist
Conduct incoming shipment/delivery quality inspections on all products and ensure deliveries matches with technical specifications for that product for Design, Colour, Measurement, Performance and Appearance
Provide accurate and timely quality reporting
Manage and update all forms and record keeping of quality
Oversee all on HOLD/REJECT product and ensure audit trails
Ensure record keeping and filing is correct and consistent
Oversee and check the setup of the QC area for equipment, calibration of scales, stationary, forms and files
Report near misses, accidents and unsafe situations
Placing orders with approved suppliers
Ensure regular preventative maintenance is carried out on all machinery & equipment
Raise and populate Non-Conformance reports for production, pre-test and systems tests
Create, review, update proper implementation and completeness of operations documentation
Communicates with members in the department on technical issues

Employee Administration:

Facilitation of job description and performance assessment on a biannual basis of employees under your supervision
Assisting with Facility & People Management
Referral to procedural guideline of employees in the instance of trauma, stress or mental illness.
Health and safety of employees; administration and quality control.
Security management of employees during working hours according to their employment contacts and regulations.
Management of leave of employees under your supervision
Discipline management of employees.

Minimum requirements: Relevant Degree or Diploma
Experience required: 4 to 5 years experience in a similar position
Start date: As soon as possible
Job Type: Permanent (Part-time with increase to Full-time as facility expands)
Package: Negotiable based on experience and expertise
