Our client, a wine estate, situated in the beautiful Stellenbosch region is looking for an experience guest house manager.
The wine farm accommodation offers both bed & breakfast and self-catering farm stays. There are six bed & breakfast units and two self-catering cottages. Breakfast is served daily, and lunch can be enjoyed at the wine estate restaurant.
Your duties will include (but not limited to):
- Oversee all aspects of the accommodation’s operations, including guest reservations, check-in/check-out.
- Management of housekeeping and maintenance staff
- Handle guest enquiries and complaints efficiently and in a professional manner.
- Stock take and order supplies as needed.
- Daily liaison with the restaurant/chef
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous FOH/guest house management experience
- Must be able to manage and motivate staff.
- Must have high standards and great attention to detail.
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Must be a team player.
