Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential export markets, consumer preferences, trends, and competitors. Develop comprehensive export sales strategies and plans tailored to each target market, considering factors such as pricing, distribution channels, and promotional activities.

Business Development

Identify and engage potential distributors, importers, and key accounts in global markets to establish partnerships. Negotiate sales agreements to ensure mutual benefit. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging to target market preferences and regulations.

Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with international partners, providing support and resources to boost sales. Serve as the main contact for international clients, resolving issues and ensuring smooth transactions. Also, supervise sales performance and reporting.

Sales Performance and Reporting

Monitor export sales metrics like volume, revenue, and market share. Analyse data to spot trends and opportunities, making necessary improvements. Prepare concise reports for senior management, summarising sales performance and offering strategic recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills

  •  Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or related field.
  • 8+ years' experience in wine export sales management.
  • Deep understanding of international markets, distribution channels, and wine export regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, trade shows, and market exploration. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
