Relief Junior Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Relief Junior Restaurant Manager at our esteemed Bistro located within a luxury, high-end wine estate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the establishment.

Position: Relief Junior Restaurant Manager
Location: Klein Constantia Estate
Hours: Shift-based availability, including weekends
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Requirements:

• Availability to work shifts and weekends.
• Own transportation is mandatory.
• Previous experience in restaurant management is required.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting cash-up procedures at the end of each shift.
• Supervising and managing restaurant staff, including training and scheduling.
• Handling invoicing and ensuring accurate financial transactions.
• Managing stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the restaurant.
• Handling incoming emails and telephone inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Taking and confirming bookings for dining guests.
• Ensuring high-quality customer service standards are consistently met.
• Assisting in purchasing decisions and vendor relations.
