Reporting to the Assistant Business Manager: Finance you will be based at their Cape Town offices (Tygervalley-area).
Minimum knowledge & experience required to perform this job competently:
Education & Experience:
- BCom or equivalent/relevant qualification
- Minimum 8 years financial accounting experience
- Experience in the Fruit Export Industry will be an advantage
- Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) include:
- • Manage all payments to their Fruit Suppliers
- Ensure on time and correct payment to their valued Fruit Suppliers
- Main contact between Finance and Fruit Suppliers
- Forecasting of Cash Estimates for weekly Fruit Suppliers payments
- Submission of Breeding Club Declarations
- Manage credit facility and credit risk to their Fruit Suppliers – mainly advances and seasonal production loans
- Ensure all documents are in place for Due Diligence and Payback Analysis
- Create loan agreements and ensure accurate T&C’s
- FICA and NCR compliance
- GL Reconciliations - Timeous Review and Completion of Fruit Suppliers Related GL Recons
- Monthly Reporting - Contribution to accurate & timeous monthly and annual financial reporting

- Good software skills (Excel and Accpac preferable)
- Excellent communication & interaction with people on all levels in the organization are crucial
