Electrical Technician (Manufacturing/Production) - Market Related Salary

You will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and controlling the manufacturing plants’ electrical systems.

 Skills & Duties:

• Maintaining production equipment
• Programming and fault finding on PLC’s
• Setting up a library of plant drawings, equipment manuals and software programs
• Setting up and controlling an electrical spares store
• Responsible for the electrical condition of a 24-hour production facility
• Must be prepared to be on after hours call outs

 Minimum Requirements:

• Certified Technician – Minimum National Technicians Certificate (T3)
• Formal electrical training by way of either an apprenticeship or minimum 5 years practical experience
• Wireman’s licence advantageous
• Experience in programming & troubleshooting industrial PLC’s & controllers.
• Experience in LT maintenance, covering switchgear and production equipment
• Excellent in fault finding & problem solving techniques
• Own transport and valid drivers’ licence essential
• Must reside in the Gordons Bay, Strand or Somerset West area
