We're seeking a dynamic Floor Manager to lead our passionate team at our high end retail store. This role is pivotal in driving foot traffic to our business and increasing customer spend across all facets of our operations. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, a client expert, and ready to elevate our brand and offerings to new heights.

Your knowledge on wines and spirits, should match your strategic insight and robust planning and implementation skills. This role requires you to also be proficiency in technology.

This job requires connecting with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner. The use of persuasive communication skills to gain the interest and involvement of others in the work process is an important aspect of the job. There is no ask too big or too small from our clients, requiring you to above & beyond for all.
The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty and a feeling of responsibility for completing work both quickly and correctly. Follow-up of delegated work must be very thorough. Decision making will be done with the ideas and advice of others, but always carefully and cautiously within the guidelines of established company policy. Selling ideas to others and the ability to train, teach and motivate a team are strong aspects of this position. Change is an ongoing occurrence of this job and will be approached conservatively and with the support and guidance of management

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Supporting day-to-day operation

- Provide expert guidance on product selection and recommendations

- Sales: Your ability to connect and build lasting relationships will be key to expanding our reach and clientele.

- Train and develop staff members to ensure exceptional customer service

- Maintain inventory levels and implement effective merchandising strategies

- Managing staff roster, leave schedules and manually capturing hours monthly

- Recommend ways to improve our services, product offering to our clientele

- Supporting day-to-day operation

**Qualifications:**

- Extensive knowledge of spirits and wines (training provided for additional department)

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to connect with customers

- Prior experience in retail or hospitality management mandatory 

About us:

We are a retail and ecommerce company based in Cape Town CBD. Hours can be discussed, but would vary from 5-6 working days per week; and latest hours to be worked would be 8PM.
