Exciting Opportunity for Harvest Wine Maker in Romania
The position of harvest wine maker for 2024 vintage in Romania. This unique opportunity involves overseeing the harvest of approximately 2000 tonnes of grapes, with a mix of 60% white and 40% red varieties. The winery is an old state-owned establishment with a mix of equipment, including stainless steel and concrete tanks with epoxy lining.
The successful candidate will work closely with the existing wine maker to enhance the quality of the wines produced. This role requires someone with a minimum of five years experience working as a wine maker and who possesses strong organisational skills, a calm demeanour, and a can-do attitude.
The harvest season typically runs from late August to the end of October . In addition to a monthly salary, the winery offers a car for personal use, accommodation, and a return economy airfare to Bucharest in Romania.
With over 25 years of experience working in Romania, I will be facilitating the recruitment process and providing support and guidance on wine production if required.
