We are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate wine person to join a very successful team. You will have a deep appreciation for wine, excellent communication skills and a proven track record in wine sales. The aim of the role is to promote and sell a diverse selection of wines to private clients, restaurants and retailers, to establish, and maintain the relationships and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- lead generation by identifying potential clients and market trends.
- build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- promote and sell a variety of wines to restaurants, retailers, and individuals.
- meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
- collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies.
- attend industry events and tastings to enhance product knowledge and network.
Skills required:
- proven experience in wine sales or a related field.
- in-depth knowledge of various types of wines and the wine industry.
- strong sales and negotiation skills.
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- self-motivated and results-oriented.
- ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- flexibility to attend evening and weekend events.
