Boland Cellar, situated in Paarl, requires the services of a dynamic and energetic individual to take responsibility for the maintenance of the wine cellar and premises.
Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation and management of maintenance plan
- Repair and maintenance of wine cellar equipment & machines, buildings, terrain, garden and vehicles
- Liaison with contractors
- Purchases and stock control
- Management of workshop
- Team management
- Compliance with health & safety measures
Requirements:
- Qualified Artisan (fitter / millwright / electrician)
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience at a wine cellar will be advantageous
- Well-developed technical knowledge and skills
- Practical and technical approach to work
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to go the extra mile and to work under pressure
- Drivers’ licence
- Computer literate
