About Us:

We are an established venue dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our clients, whether for weddings, corporate functions, birthday parties, or other special events. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Wedding Venue Coordinator with a natural talent for selling to manage all aspects of our venue operations.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to client inquiries via email and WhatsApp. (Company phone provided)
• Schedule and manage venue viewings.
• Conduct viewings, promote the venue, and follow up with clients.
• Send quotes, contracts, and process deposits.
• Reconcile payments and send balance statements.
• Arrange bar staff and inventory orders pre-event.
• Supervise events and manage venue operations.
• Organise cleaning staff and services post-event.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable industry experience and knowledge in event coordination.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Extroverted personality with a natural talent for selling.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in using online systems for record keeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Experience in social media marketing is a plus.
• Ability to work well with other service providers.
• Preferably reside close to the venue to facilitate viewings more easily.
• Must be willing to work after hours and weekends for viewings and event supervision.

Additional Details:

The role does not require being on-site during specific hours, except for scheduled viewings or managing functions. However, there is an expectation to respond to queries from potential new clients within set timeframes.

Compensation:

• The compensation is structured on a basic retainer + commission to incentivise selling.
