Our client, an upmarket Estate in Paarl area, is looking to hire an experienced and talented SOUS CHEF to join their team. The position requires a creative and a hands-on approach to food production.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Sous Chef with very good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with guests, with a strong culinary and operational skill set, ability to manage a small team effectively. Event / banqueting experience is essential. The ideal individual is passionate about cooking and cares about a curated guest experience. Experience in a high-end, bistro-style environment.
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.

The key role will be to manage the overall kitchen operation of the property’s Manor House that is able to accommodate up to 12 guests. The position manage a small team and takes charge of breakfast and all other meals and special lunches / dinners that is requested. The Sous Chef will also assist the main bistro style restaurant on the property as and when needed.
Remuneration: R18 000 – R25 000 (Dependant on experience)
