Tiny Keg Can Co, a leading provider of innovative canning solutions, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities across our Cape Town facility.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Headline Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal performance of all production equipment through maintenance, while actively collaborating with equipment and parts suppliers to streamline operations.
  • Maintenance Planning and Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
  • Equipment Management:Inspect, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, including canning lines, compressors, HVAC systems, pumps and other production equipment.
  • Safety and Compliance: ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including labor, materials, and outsourced services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in the food and beverage packaging industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and systems within a growing business.

Salary: CTC is negotiable depending on experience.

Hours: Full-time position (Monday- Friday including weekends on occasion)
