Liquor Sales Representative (Western Cape)

Our client, a supplier of wines to the liquor on-consumption market through its association with a major national distributer, is seeking to appoint a target-driven Sales Representative with a proven sales track record to join their team.

Duties will include: *Market development *Planning sales calls, routes and servicing cycles to meet customers and promote products *Customer relationship management *Planning and coordinating product promotions & support supplier-initiated activation marketing campaigns *Planning and implementing sales incentive programmes *Monitoring & analysing sales performance trends *Reporting on results of campaigns, incentive programmes and sales performance, and making recommendations for improvement *Stock planning & control *Providing input to problem solving in the supply and distribution chain *all other duties related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Matric, a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantage;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in liquor sales to the on-consumption market;
• Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits categories and consumption preferences;
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office);
• Drivers license and own reliable transport;
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (overtime and some weekends - festivals, etc.).
