Located within the stunning valley of Franschhoek, this exclusive 7-bedroom guesthouse is situated on a privately owned working farm spanning 50 hectares of pristine fybos.
 
Our client, is seeking to employ an ASSISTANT BUTLER to join their team. The ideal candidate has an unwavering passion for service excellence, demonstrates strong leadership qualities, meticulous attention to detail, highly self-motivated, with strong interpersonal abilities, maintains composure and excels in high-pressure environments.
 
This varied role involves ensuring a curated guest experience, assistance with breakfast, lunch and dinner service, preparation of basic meals, butler and guest service.
We are looking for an individual who is hands on, houseproud, enjoys walking the extra mile with some experience in managing the herbs, fruit and vegetable gardens in conjunction with the chef on the property.
 
Experience and Skills:
 
Relevant tertiary qualification beneficial• previous working experience in a luxury guesthouse / hotel environment • excellent knowledge of Franschhoek area and surrounds • excellent track record in housekeeping, food and beverage, as well as butler duties • ability to prepare basic meals • own vehicle and driver’s license beneficial • excellent communication skills in English • strong track record in housekeeping, food and beverage, as well as butler duties • hospitality management skills • courteous and calm under pressure • high level of emotional intelligence • Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards
