Our client, an iconic Wine Estate near Franschhoek is looking to hire an experienced Events Coordinator to join a vibrant team. The ideal individual is strong in decision-making, communication and has initiative and attention to detail.
 
Previous experience specifically in coordinating large scale weddings, corporate events and celebrations is essential.
 
Position requirements:
• Events Management qualification or similar
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
• Be able to work under pressure
• Must have good organisation and communication skills
• Must have previous experience with stock control and staff management and supplier liaison
• Own Transport and driver’s license
• Able to work flexible hours
• Applicants must reside in the Winelands area
Main responsibilities and duties:
 
• Client Liaison : Receiving enquiries / Sending out packages and information
• Site Visits /Completion of info to build quotes
• Procurement
• Overseeing Venue items and keeping control of stock / keeping a check on venues and surrounds and informing maintenance of any issues
• Set up and Strike oversight of suppliers and assist with own set up plus make sure
• that the Venue is ready and prepared
• On the day operations assistance of the actual event including actual liaison with outside co-ordinators and making sure all is in place from the Venue side
• Assistance with Operations at special Estate Events
 
Remuneration: R25 000 – R28 000 (Dependant on experience)
Start Date: ASAP – URGENT
