We have an exciting career opportunity for a talented HEAD CHEF on a historic working farm, situated in the Durbanville Wine Region. The beautifully appointed restaurant, offers true South African contemporary fare to pair with the entire range of estate wines. The restaurant serve breakfast and lunch service and is a popular destination for special niche events.
 
We are looking for a HEAD CHEF with an unwavering passion for culinary arts and a proven ability to craft innovative South-African inspired menus. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and management skills to effectively oversee the kitchen operations. It will also be expected to assist with managerial duties in the Restaurant Manager’s absence.
 
The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional culinary, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, possesses strong leadership qualities, maintains composure, and excels in high-pressure environments.
 
Position Requirements:
 
Qualification in Professional Cookery • at least 3 year’s Head Chef experience in a busy restaurant environment • innovative menu engineering • proficient knowledge of South-African-inspired cooking • strong ability to manage and develop a team
