Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience: Ensure every visitor to our tasting room receives an outstanding and memorable experience.
Tastings Management: Assist in organizing and conducting wine tastings, ensuring accurate and engaging presentations of our wines.
Hospitality Support: Support the Hospitality Manager in daily operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training.
Event Assistance: Help plan and execute events, from small private tastings to larger brand-related events.
Sales Support: Assist with wine sales in the tasting room, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage wine stock levels, ensuring availability of all products.
Cleanliness and Presentation: Maintain the appearance of all areas open to the public, ensuring they are always clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Qualifications:
- A passion for wine and a strong desire to learn about the wine industry.
- Basic knowledge of wine and food pairings, and Cape Wine Academy or WSET certification.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for professional growth and development within the wine industry.
- Own transport and valid drivers license.
