A progressive Wine Estate in the Constantia Area currently have a vacancy for a dedicated, detail-oriented and friendly Administration & Wine Tasting Officer. The person must be able to work in a team but also take full responsibility of the tasting room if working alone.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Prior experience in office administration and wine tasting will be advantageous
- Completed wine courses will be advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite & prior exposure to Cin 7 DEAR will be advantageous
- Professional written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
- Presentable, well-organized and precise
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the full debtors and creditors functions
- Performing monthly reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers, tour operators and marketing and sales agents
- Conducting wine tastings
- Educating customers and promoting the wines
- Performing stock take
- Handling related administrative duties
Kindly note, the job incumbent will be required to work on Saturdays and Sundays depending on the work roster.
