What You'll Do (will include but not be limited to):
- Lead & Inspire: Manage our tasting room with enthusiasm, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and immersive wine experience.
- Craft Experiences: Curate and oversee daily tastings, special events, and wine education sessions.
- Team Building: Train, motivate, and lead a team of enthusiastic staff to deliver top-notch service.
- Customer Relations: Build lasting relationships with visitors, handle inquiries, and address any issues with grace and professionalism.
- Operations: Oversee inventory management, sales reporting, and ensure adherence to our quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Wine Knowledge: A deep understanding of wine varieties, production processes, and tasting techniques.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing teams and creating a positive work environment.
- Customer Focus: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for making guests feel welcome and valued.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Prior experience in a tasting room or hospitality management role is essential. Minimum of 5 years management experience.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Own transport essential
- Ability to work weekends, Public Holidays as per industry requirements.
