We are recruiting for a seasoned hospitality professional who loves wine and excels in guest service.
Your role as an essential team member will be instrumental in driving the success and profitability of our tasting room, all while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Working Hours:
10h00 to 18h00 (Monday to Sunday – rostered)
Weekend work (rostered – some weekends off). Days off in the week if you worked on a weekend.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct daily operations of the tasting room
Offer expert wine guidance and knowledge to guests, including recommendations for food and wine pairings
Coach and develop staff to uphold high service standards
Prioritize guest satisfaction, aiming to create memorable experiences for every visitor
Implement strategies to enhance profitability through cost-effective measures and revenue generation
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and company policies
Requirements:
At least 3 -5 years relevant working experience (i.e. Hospitality, Tourism, Wine or Restaurant)
Wine expertise and proficiency in food and wine pairing will be an advantage but not essential
A qualifications in Hospitality Management will be an advantage
Possession of a valid SA driver’s license and personal vehicle – essential requirement
Demonstrated success in staff management and enhancing performance
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Availability for flexible hours, involving weekends and holidays
Exceptional attention to detail and adept multitasking
Communication skills – proficient in both English and Afrikaans
Presentable and professional
