We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable restaurant ambadassor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food and beverage, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and memorable experience for the guests.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of restaurant areas.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Ensure restaurant policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Assist in organizing and executing special events and group bookings.
- Cash-ups.
- Assist with managing restaurant stock and stock counts.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in the wine/hospitality industry.
- Hospitality POS system experience
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and occasional evening events.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks, follow instructions correctly with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work.
- Reside in/around Stellenbosch area.
