Are you passionate about wine and eager to dive into the world of winemaking? Villiera Wines, a renowned Cap Classique producer in Stellenbosch, is offering a unique opportunity for Harvest Interns to join our team during the upcoming harvest season (January – April).
About Us:
Villiera is a leading South African producer of award winning Cap Classique and still wines. Since producing our first Cap Classique in 1984, we have been pioneers in the category. We also have a strong reputation for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet. The cellar can handle 2 800 tons of grapes producing red, white and sparkling wines. By continuing to focus on consistency and excellence we have garnered a multitude of awards for our Cap Classique and still wines.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking candidates who are not only capable of but also enthusiastic about taking on diverse tasks. Harvest season demands dedication, so applicants should be prepared to work hard and learn as much as they can. Innovation and teamwork are crucial attributes we value in our interns.
Responsibilities:
As a Harvest Intern at Villiera, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of winemaking during the harvest season. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Grape reception, Controlling fermentation, Additions, Pump-overs, Punch downs, Maintaining cellar hygiene, and Barrel filling.
Requirements:
Own transportation is essential for this role.
