Our esteemed client, a distinguished winery and fine dining establishment nestled in the heart of the Stellenbosch Wine Route, has garnered acclaim for its exceptional wines and unparalleled experiences. Wine connoisseurs are guided through a sensory odyssey by knowledgeable and passionate wine tasting professionals. The restaurant presents an array of curated platters, as well as elevated wine-paired lunches and dinners.
 
We seek experienced Wine Ambassadors and Tasting Hosts who share our client’s passion for the hospitality industry, and possess an exceptional background in food and wine. Prior experience in a sophisticated establishment is essential.
 
As a Wine Ambassador, you will assume the role of presenting and guiding guests through exclusive wine tasting sessions and meticulously curated food and wine pairing experiences at the wine lounge and restaurant.
 
Requirements and Experience:
 
• Hospitality qualifications are preferred
• Extensive knowledge of wines is essential
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required
• A guest-centric and service-oriented approach is crucial
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays, is necessary
• A passion for the hospitality industry is essential
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and own vehicle are advantageous
 
Remuneration: Competitive basic plus gratuity share
Start Date: Priority Position
