Prepare and set up the coffee station, making and serving coffees (and all variations of) hot and cold beverages, spirits, wine and beers, with energy, efficiency and enthusiasm – service with a smile. Demonstrate service excellence and an exciting guest experience while maintaining a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and or set up of bar, coffee and tea station.
  • Make and serve coffee and tea and other hot beverages.
  • Ensure all juices, garnishes, ice and other requirements are prepared before service commences.
  • Be available for mid-month and month end beverage stock count.
  • Clean and polish cutlery, crockery, glassware, and restaurant surrounds.
  • Report complaints and/or any incidents to management promptly, helping to find solutions where possible.

Knowledge, skills and qualities

  • Excellent verbal communication skills (English), other language(s) desirable.
  • Understanding of different types of coffees and general beverage options/mixers.
  • Positive guest interaction.
  • Able to function under pressure.
  • Able to deal with people at all levels with confidence and ease.
  • A vibrant and responsible approach with a cheerful and service-orientated outlook.
