Simonsig Wines seeks to appoint a Hospitality Manager for the Brand Home. The successful incumbent must demonstrate the ability to work under high pressure, be energetic and dynamic, sales driven and have a passion for the wine and hospitality industry.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of the Brand Home (and future hospitality facilities).
  • Manage all Brand Home staff, FOH & BOH (and future hospitality facilities staff).
  • Training and Development of Brand Home staff.
  • Policies and Procedures relating to the Brand Home.
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Maintain and grow destination image in line with the company brand.
  • Improve the quality of the existing Brand Home experience.
  • Use your initiative to drive and develop customer experiences.
  • Improve the quality-of-service excellence of current Brand Home staff.
  • Develop tasting and hospitality offerings.
  • Develop function packages for all hospitality areas.
  • Project Management on all hospitality facility make-overs.
  • Support National and International Sales and Marketing Strategies.
  • Stock Management and Control.
  • Health and Safety and excellent housekeeping.
  • Customer Liaison, manage all customer queries, reviews, and complaints with regards to Brand Home.
  • Manage, plan, and execute all onsite events i.e.: Vintage Day, Cap Classique Affair, Fizz Days, etc.
  • Administrative duties linked to the role. (cash ups, time and attendance, invoicing etc.)

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality.
  • Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Computer literate.
  • Wine knowledge will be advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
  • Must be flexible to work additional hours as required in the Hospitality industry.
  • Commencement date: As soon as possible.
