As the Restaurant Manager, you'll be at the heart of our food and beverage operations. Your role involves overseeing all outlets, managing daily operations, and ensuring top-notch banqueting setups and function requirements. You’ll conduct regular walkabouts to assess performance, handle stock takes, and ensure budgeted margins are met. You'll be responsible for operating equipment, upholding health and hygiene standards, and delivering an exceptional experience for our guests. Quick problem-solving and maintaining high standards are key to success in this dynamic role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Food & Beverage department and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Manage member accounts and sales processes accurately.
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain quality, and handle ordering and inventory controls.
  • Ensure fair treatment and discipline among staff and maintain up-to-date paperwork for cost control and staffing.
  • Conduct weekly departmental meetings, monitor staff productivity, and provide on-the-job training.
  • Manage Back of House areas, ensure compliance with hygiene regulations, and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Regularly review market prices for cost efficiency and perform daily/weekly walkabouts to track progress and needs.
  • Attend training and seminars for professional development and assist with F&B functions as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years as an F&B Supervisor or Junior Supervisor.
  • Matric or equivalent; Hospitality Management Diploma is a plus.
  • Proficiency in F&B costing systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Valid Driver’s License.
    • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
    • Sound judgment and the ability to handle stress effectively.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and reach. Continuous repetitive motions are required.
  • Work Environment: Work in hot, humid, and noisy conditions, as well as in fridges and freezers during stock takes.
