Wine Club Ambassador

Vrede en Lust Wines, situated in Simondium,  currently has the following vacancy: Wine Club Ambassador. 

The successful candidate should be fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English), well-organised, enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated. Solid administrative and communication skills are a must.

The ability to work in a team, drive exceptional customer service and experience, as well as have a passion for wine and sales, with a pro-active approach to exceed sales targets are further pre-requisites for the role.

Responsibilities will include:

• Management of Wine Club database (keep records up to date)
• Handle all queries form existing and new members
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers
• Actively pursue sales outside of monthly shipments
• Generate sales via various platforms
• Develop innovative strategies to drive sales and increase membership of Wine Club
• Coordinate delivery of wine orders placed by members
• Oversee shipments and logistics
• Represent the brand at events and present exceptional tasting experiences
• Assist with ad hoc tasks 
• And all other duties relevant to the position.

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar sales role;
• Excellent Computer proficiency (Advanced MS Excel);
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle;
• Willingness to travel and to work holidays and weekends when required.

Advantageous:

• Relevant qualification in wine (Cape Wines Academy certificate / WSET level 2)
• Knowledge of EzyWine and WooCommerce
