Stellenzicht Hospitality Assistants (Part Time)

We are looking for warm and hard working hospitality assistants to join our team.

Tasting Room Assistants Job Description:

 Duties will include:
*  Excellent customer service and attentiveness to guests needs
*  To share the story of Stellenzicht with the guests
*  Present wine tastings and answer any questions the guests might have.
*  Take food and beverage orders
*  Tasting room opening and closing procedures ( eg. Opening and closing umbrellas, putting out and packing away cushion, setting up tables for bookings)
*  Wine sales and upselling of wines
*  Any other reasonable instruction from the Front of House Manager

 Characteristics required for this role:
*  The ability to work well in a team and under pressure
*  Excellent verbal communication
*  Willingness to learn and improve
*  Proficiency in English and Afrikaans will be beneficial
*  Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, public holidays  and evening functions.

Minimum Requirements:
*  Matric / Grade 12
*  Hospitality experience is a must. Not necessarily on a wine farm, previous Hostess/Waitering experience is fine
*  Own transport is essential
*  Wine knowledge is advantageous but training can be provided
